Death by Yorkie

Morning flies by while we run errands in Grants Pass (Oregon), and before we know it, we have just an hour before we need to vacate our site at Valley of the Rogue State Park.  Just as I am taking pugs out for their pre-trip business, five or six black dots come scampering up the hill and surround Otis.

Poor chicken Otis has tiny Yorkie puppies dashing all around him, and looks like he is going to be sick at the sight of so many wet dogs.

Several of the puppies have been playing in the creek, and are now running wildly around us in an attempt to dry themselves off.  The owner comes over and herds them back down the hill, but not before I get my fill of tiny dog cuteness.

Our drive for the day is short because we only intend to make it to Klamath Falls, where Murray has a vet appointment for tomorrow morning.  Yes, we managed nearly two months since we had a pug emergency, and apparently that is just too long, so Murray decided to go and get Colitis.  If you don't know what that is, it is probably for the best.

Our options for free camping tonight include a Walmart and a Home Depot.  Since Home Depot closes at 8, there is a good chance we will have the parking lot to ourselves and some quiet.

That's the theory, anyway.

This is not at Home Depot, but the colors are close enough
The night shift at Home Depot must be a rowdy bunch because our sleep is interrupted by incoherent babbling into the intercom system.  Either they tire out or get yelled at, because it ends abruptly and silence reigns again.  But now I am awake and worried, so I collect all of our receipts for the month and enter them into our monthly budget.  Now I am bored and cold enough to climb back in bed next to snoring pugs and fantastically warm Hubs.
