We got our television in this week, and hubs installed the locking, swiveling TV mount in the "bedroom." We tested it out with a Dixie Droopy Dog cartoon, which Otis enjoyed watching.
Murray was too busy licking his foot.
We chose the Jensen LED TV, which runs on 12 volts and draws much less power than the same LCD TV. It is also so much lighter and less cumbersome than the LCD version.
This week I dropped the cardboard template for the bathroom cabinet off at a metal fab shop and am waiting on an estimate.
We are making our final preparations to leave, including a final purging of unnecessary items, dental cleanings, and last minute purchases.
In a few days we move into the Airstream for a trial run to make sure everything works before we get far away from the shop.
Meanwhile, it continues to snow.
God was watching over me today as I drove through the bad weather. I was headed straight for a ravine, foot on the brake and wheel turned as I slid uncontrollably towards a nasty accident. I asked God for help, the car immediately made the turn and I was back on the road. I was so thankful and so ashamed for doubting that He hears my prayers.
