Doggie GPS

A few days ago I ordered two Tagg pet tracker devices and got them early this week.

I was so happy to get a device that could find my dogs should ever get out and wander off or if the Airstream gets stolen while we are out and the dogs are in it.  That would be a bad day for the thief, let me tell you.

So this is how it works:

"The Tagg pet tracking system allows you to track your pet’s location and activity from your computer or mobile device. You can see where your dog is or monitor his activity levels 24/7. The lightweight pet tracker attaches to your pet's existing collar, and is designed to be worn at all times, even while swimming.

Tagg Location Tracking puts you in control of finding your pet. Unlike a microchip, which won’t alert you if your pet is lost, Tagg is a GPS pet tracker that sends you a text and email when your pet gets out so you can find him NOW."

Oh the modern age we live in!  It can also track your pet's activity and tell you exactly how much exercise your dog is or is not getting per day.

After the initial purchase, the monthly fee for tracking is a little under $8/month for the first device and 95¢/month for any other devices you add.  Tagg offers their packages with either three or twelve months of tracking included.  The service can be paused and restarted as needed.

The good news for you is that they will be going on sale at Amazon on Thursday morning at 11 for just a few hours, or until the available units have been sold, whichever comes first.
(p.s. Amazon is an authorized dealer, and the price will change at exactly 11.)

Otis agreed to model his new tracker for a piece of cheese.
This is with just the tag attached to his collar:

and with the optional sleeve that fits over it:

Now where's my cheese??

Using the links above will allow me to get a commission on each purchase, which costs you nothing, and for which I am very grateful!  Thanks for using them!
