Last time I posted, I had come down with an unpleasant case of strep throat.  I wanted to assure you all that I did not, in fact, turn into a giant cockroach and I no longer feel like I am trying to swallow tall ships.  Much to my surprise, I was fit as a fiddle less than 24 hours after I wrote that post!
"How did this happen?  You must have gorged yourself on antibiotics?"
Nope! I didn't even go to the doctor!
"Well then you couldn't have had strep!"
I have had strep many times and I know exactly what he looks like:

So what made him go away?
I am not exactly sure, because I tried two things.

1. Ingredients

  • ⅓ c. raw honey
  • 3 to 5 cloves raw garlic
  • ½ t. cayenne
   Instructions
  1. Chop or slice garlic into small pieces
  2. Stir all ingredients together
  3. Take in one teaspoon doses every hour, letting set on back of throat if you can do it without gagging, starting with four doses.

2.  Ingredients

  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Raw Honey
  • Water
   Instructions

  1. Mix 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar with 3 tbs honey.  Dilute slightly with water.
  2. Take small sips as often as you can stand it.

The combination of these two toxic sludges sent Mr. Strep packing within 24 hours.  Shoot, I'd have left too if I weren't attached.

On to trailer business:

The hinged lids are on the dinette seats, so we can sit someplace!  The two side walls are in for the bathroom, and a bunch of parts have been ordered and should come next week.
