Winter can get pretty cold around here.

I suppose that makes now a perfect time to think about insulation.  During the sweltering days of summer, I cut and numbered stacks and stacks of Prodex insulation, which made insulating this week a breeze.

The trailer no longer echos and it has a nice warm blanket feel to it.  Only one layer is in so far, but after we wire, two more layers will round things out.

We are working on filling in some of the odd holes, one of which was this one for the phone jack.

Since we aren't planning on starting a telemarketing business from the trailer, we figured it would be okay to replace it with something else.

It isn't terribly useful but this little light will shine on the jack for night unhitchings. And it looks more purposeful than a patch.

  1. That's a cool little light, where did you find that?

    1. I think it is a standard RV step light, but I have seen them on truck steps too, so you could probably find it at a car parts store like Napa.
