No pictures today, but the perimeter of the belly pan is FINISHED! This means that maybe possibly hopefully we can put the shell back on next week. Now that is something to celebrate! I have learned one important thing about making and installing the pan....I know nothing about making and installing a pan. The whole thing felt like I was flying by the seat of my pants. It was a lot of work (not back-breaking, but difficult), a lot of hours, and a lot of unhappy muttering coming from under the trailer (mostly Mr.). Would he do it again? I'm gonna guess no. Would I? Probably. Then again, I'm not the one who had hot shards of metal raining down neck and arms while drilling into the main rail (thanks dear!).
In other news, I noticed that the port-a-walls that were put on the tires a few months back have started to yellow. They haven't been outside or exposed to the elements, so I am at a loss. The backs of them (the side against the tire) is still the original white. Any ideas what the problem is?
