Magic Scratch Eraser

Being the impatient person that I am, moving on to "step 2" before finishing "step 1" was a perfectly natural progression.  In case you missed it, I have been polishing the trailer using the kit from Jestco.  I found it to be a bit less expensive than the one from VTS and it works beautifully.  The purpose of the first step is to take all of the oxidation off.  The second step does an almost magical job of taking scratches out.  I have been so impressed with the Jewelers Rouge that comes with the kit.  Here is a before and after of the same big ugly scratch:

This step also made the pits below the scratch disappear!  I suppose you could get your trailer skin that perfect all over, but it would take more time than it was worth in my book.

Mr. Aluminum took out the vents, and I thought it was so funny to see him poking out the top of the trailer.

Otis thought so too.
